Report a security problem
Waternet believes it is important to provide secure services. That is why we take great care to secure our systems and your information. Unfortunately, there may be weaknesses in our security that we are not yet aware of. Do you think you've found a problem? We would like to hear from you.
Have you found a security breach? Then please report it to us. In order to prevent abuse of a security breach, you need to follow these rules and regulations:
- Report the problem as soon as possible using the contact form at the bottom of this page. The sooner we know about the problem, the less likely it is that others will abuse it.
- Provide us with as much information as possible about the problem. For example, add IP addresses and logs. And clearly state how we can reproduce the problem. That way, we can start working on your report right away.
- Do not take advantage of the security breach. If you do that, then we will file a police report.
- Do not share the security breach with others or make it public.
The rules and regulations are based on the Coordinated Vulnerability Disclosure Guidance (You are leaving this website) (in Dutch) issued by the National Cyber Security Centre (You are leaving this website). This centre is part of the Ministry of Justice and Security.
What will we do with your report?
After a security breach has been reported, we will investigate it as soon as possible. We will also get in contact with you. If we disclose the problem to the public, we will make clear agreements with you on this.
