Waternet may send you different types of bills: a water authority tax bill and/or a tap water bill. This depends on the area where you live. You may select a payment option via ‘Mijn Waternet’(My Waternet). You can pay in instalments via Direct Debit. Or in one go via iDEAL.

Payment in instalments via Direct Debit

You can quickly and easily pay in instalments via Direct Debit. The amounts will be automatically deducted from your bank account.  This is simple, convenient and safe.

Water authority tax

You receive a water authority tax assessment once a year. You have 2 Direct Debit payment options:

  • 1 annual instalment
  • 8 instalments

If you select to pay 8 instalments, you will pay the same amount for 8 consecutive months. It will be deducted from your bank account around the 28th day of each month.

Tap water

You have 2 Direct Debit options for your  tap water bill:

  • per month
  • per quarter (every 3 months)

Manual payment via iDEAL

Would you prefer to pay your bill in one go, when it is convenient for you? This can be done safely via iDEAL, which directly transfers payments from your bank account.
