How can I change my instalment amount for tap water?

Does your home have a water meter?  You can increase or decrease the amount of your advance payment on My Waternet.

We automatically change your advance payment amount after you have received your annual statement.

When is this not possible?

Sometimes you cannot change the amount of your advance payment.

  • If your home does not have a water meter
    You can only change your monthly or quarterly amount if your home has a water meter. If your home does not have a water meter, you will pay a fixed amount for the number of units in your home.
  • If you will receive your annual bill within 3 months.
    Every year, we ask you to submit your meter reading. Then we can exactly see how much water you have used. We automatically adjust your instalment amount based on your actual water use. You cannot change your monthly or quarterly payment if you have not yet received your annual statement. Because if we do not know the amount of your new instalment payment, you cannot change it.
