I have moved. Why did I still receive a tap water bill?

You will receive a final tap water bill within 2 weeks after you have moved. We will check if you should still submit an additional payment or if you will receive a refund.

Did you pay per month? Your water bill is an advance payment. So sometimes, you will receive a monthly bill before your final bill.

Your tap water bill is an advance payment. At the end of each month, you will receive an instalment bill for the next month. So: at the end of September you will receive the instalment bill for October.

Example

You are moving on 28 September. Therefore, you will no longer use water at your old address. However, by then we will have already sent your instalment bill for October. So, you have received a water bill for your old address, where you no longer live.

What action should I take?

Pay the instalment payment as you have always done. You will automatically receive a refund when your final bill has been drawn up.

Do you pay via Direct Debit? Then we will automatically deduct the amount from your bank account and you do not have to take any action.
