Water meter installation
You can have a water meter installed if tap water enters your home at 1 central point. This is the case if you can use 1 tap to shut off all the other taps in the house (kitchen, toilet and bathroom). With a water meter, you pay for the water you use.

Note: You can no longer request a water meter on this page. Please request a water meter via mijnaansluiting.nl. (You are leaving this website)
Costs of installing a water meter
Installing a water meter is sometimes free, but sometimes it is not. We assess this on a case-by-case basis. If you apply for a water meter on mijnaansluiting.nl (You are leaving this website), you will always see a price listed there. Once you have submitted your application, we will contact you. We will then let you know whether the installation of the meter is free of charge for you or not.

Earthing and water meter
Would you like Waternet to install or relocate a water meter? This is only possible if your house is properly earthed. We may ask you for an earthing statement.

Making the premises suitable

You can then submit the completed form online to Waternet.
