Your water authority tax assessment will come later

You will receive your water authority tax assessment later than usual. Read on to find out what this means for you.

In 2021, we have been upgrading our IT infrastructure for water authority tax. We also renewed My Waternet. Both of these projects had to be completed before we could draw up assessments. That is why your assessment will come later than usual.

Assessment 2021

  • At the end of October 2021, we started sending out the 2021 assessments.
  • Do you own your house or apartment? We will start sending out your assessments in May 2022.
  • We do not send the assessments to everyone at the same time. You may also receive your assessment in June.
  • Payment obligations will only start after you have received your assessment. This is also true if you pay in instalments.
  • Do you not want to pay the whole assessment in one time? Then choose to pay in a maximum of 8 instalments via direct debit. You can change the number of instalments online in My Waternet.

Assessment 2022

  • In August we will start sending out the assessments for 2022.
  • If you pay your assessment for 2021 in 8 instalments your last payments may take place at the end of 2022. When sending the 2022 assessment we will try to take this into account. We will try to make sure that you will not pay installments for your water authority tax for 2021 and 2022 in the same month.
