Flooding due to rain

These days, the rain is heavier and more frequent. A downpour can cause flooding, for example on the road or in your garden. It can also create damp inside your house. Here is some information on what you can do when it rains.

Is there immediate danger because of a water issue? Is somebody in danger, for example? Call the fire department using the emergency number: 112.

Flooding on the road

Have you noticed a blocked road drain? Have you noticed that the cover of a road drain comes up when it floods? Or that a road or underpass has been flooded for some time? When there is a lot of rain, sometimes the sewage system cannot handle all that water. Please contact Waternet's emergency number, open 24 hours a day. Waternet maps all the flooding in the city, and takes action whenever it's required.
