Are you in a hurry? Or is your service interruption not shown on the webpage? Please contact our customer service team at 0900 9394 and choose option 1 to report an interruption.  We can be reached 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We will solve the problem as soon as possible.

Investigation into the cause

After receiving your report, Waternet will investigate the situation.

  • Firstly, we will determine the type of water. Is it ground water, waste water, tap water or rainwater?
  • We will also check if work has recently been done in your area.
  • We will check the depth of your basement. Following the investigation, we will see what we can do to help.

The problem might be inside your home. Then you should call a plumber. Waternet is only responsible for the pipes up to the main water shut off valve and the water meter. If you live in Amsterdam, we can put you in contact with a plumber.
