Report water-related issues

Is your disruption not on the map? Please report the disruption or issue to our customer service. We are available 24 hours a day.

Investigation into the cause

After receiving your report, Waternet will investigate the situation.

  • Firstly, we will determine the type of water. Is it ground water, waste water, tap water or rainwater?
  • We will also check if work has recently been done in your area.
  • If we can do something about the problem, we will solve it as soon as possible.

The problem might be inside your home. Then you should call a plumber. Waternet is only responsible for the pipes up to the main water shut off valve and the water meter. If you live in Amsterdam, we can put you in contact with a plumber.

Water-related issues in your basement or home

Do you have issues with water in your home? In your basement or cellar, for instance? Or do you have mould on your walls or a leaking roof? Or is there a leak in your water pipe? The best solution is to call a plumber. Waternet is only responsible for water-related issues and the water pipes outside your home: up to and including the main valve and water meter.
