Why can't I change my instalment amount for tap water?

You can only change your monthly or quarterly amount if your home has a water meter. If your home does not have a water meter, you will pay a fixed amount for the number of units in your home. Sometimes it is not possible to change the amount, even if you have a water meter. Read more about why this is.

My home has a water meter

Does your home have a watermeter, yet are you unable to change the instalment amount? This happens when we are about to send you your annual statement.

Included with your annual statement is an updated instalment amount, based on your water use this year.

  • If your water use is higher than expected, a higher instalment amount would be the result.
  • Did you use less water than before? Then we will lower your instalment amount accordingly.
