If your home has a water meter

Does your home have a water meter? Then these amounts are stated on your bill:

  1. Waterverbruik (Water consumption): This is what you pay for your water consumption. It is an estimate based on your previous consumption. Do you think our estimate is too high or made too low? Then contact us on 0900 9394 so we can adjust your instalment amount.
  2. Vastrecht (Standing charge): You pay a fixed amount annually to help maintain the water pipes. You pay a portion of this amount each month or every three months.
  3. Belasting op leidingwater (Tap water tax): This tax is charged per m³ of your water consumption. More about tap water tax.
  4. Kosten voor rekening: (Additional charges for paper bills): You pay an additional €1.50 for each paper bill for tap water. Customers who opt for a bill per email do not pay any additional costs.
