Do you have urgent water problems? Problems with the sewage system or blockage? Contact Waternet. You can do it 24 hours a day. Do you live in Amsterdam? Then you can arrange for a plumber through Waternet. We will be happy to help you quickly!

Do you have a leak or blockage that needs to be fixed immediately? We will help you as soon as possible. Unfortunately, we cannot solve most of the problems in your home. Waternet does not maintain sinks, taps, or washbasins. You can call in a plumber for these things.

Waternet is responsible up to and including the main water supply to your house and the water meter. If the problem lies in these areas, you won't have to pay for it.

Blockage on public property

Is the blockage on public property? Then Waternet will send a mechanic. You will not be charged if the blockage is caused by, for example, tree roots or a subsided pipe.

You will be charged if you caused the blockage yourself. For example, if you threw something in the toilet that does not belong there. Things that should not be flushed:

  • Cat litter pellets
  • Sanitary napkins and tampons
  • Moist toilet or cleaning wipes
  • Deep frying fat
  • Food residues
